Jackfruit (Artocarpus heterophyllus Lam.) is a fruit of tropical and subtropical zones the world, an important source phytochemicals (phenolic acids, flavonoids tannins). Several studies have associated with antioxidant antimicrobial properties. The objective this work was to analyze polyphenolic content, antifungal properties jackfruit extracts on phytopathogenic fungi. Two phenolic different maturity level (J1-J2) were used. total polyphenol content (TPC) determined by Folin-Ciocalteu method (TFC) aluminum chloride method, free radical trapping potential measured using FRAP ORAC methods. results showed TPC 844 1,178 mgEAG/100 g TFC 37 68 mgQE/100 g, dry jackfruit, analysis 7,575 8,691, 13.369 14.728 µmol Trolox/100 for J1 J2 respectively. Additionally, it observed that reduced mycelial growth of: Penicillium digitatum (20-14%), Geotrichum candidum (56-55%), Aspergillus niger (72-67%) Botrytis cinerea (100%-100%) We conclude regardless degree maturity, has phytopathogens in agriculture.
